SUBSTANCE: pigment can be used for colouring glass, enamel, glaze, and cement. The charge mixture for obtaining brown pigment consists of the following components in the given percentage mass ratios: chrome oxide 20-30; zinc oxide 5-10; red sludge (wastes from production of alumina from bauxite) 25-36; dolomite 35-40.
EFFECT: lower burning temperature of the pigment.
