SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to the method of obtaining racemic metallocene bipheoxide complexes with formula I 
, where R1-R8 and R13-R17, M, Z have values given in the formula of invention of reaction of bridged complexes of transition metals with cyclopentadienyl derivatives of alkaline metals or alkaline earth metals. The obtained reaction mixture is heated to temperature lying in the interval from -78 to 250°C, to the corresponding metallocene bipheoxide complexes.
EFFECT: possibility of use as a catalyst or components of catalyst for polymerisation of olefinic unsaturated compounds or as reagents or as catalysts in stereo-selective synthesis.
