Medical product for parodentium inflammatory disease treatment contains, mass%: reactants - metronidazole - 10.0, Echinacea dry extract 10.0, as base of sterol copolymer with maleic anhydride (SCMA) - 80.0. Production of specified product includes weighing of SCMA in required amount which is thereafter milled, measured off by half, added with metronidazole, milled, then added with Echinacea dry extract gradually introducing rest amount of SCMA, thoroughly milled and mixed. Mixing is continued until homogeneous powder is produced. Then finished powder is added with binding agent that is 85% ethyl alcohol solution in amount required to produce dough. Made dough is used to shape cylinders of diameter 2 mm cut by pins of length 5 mm. Shaped pins are dried out at room temperature within 24 hours. Specified dental medical pin is characterised by evident adsorption properties, ease of dosage and applications, good fixture. Product provides evident therapeutic effect of prolonged action.
