FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designs of single-screw extruders. The extruder has a housing made up of feedstock load sections, those of feedstock plasticisation, melt degassing with a vent channel and pressing out (extruding) section. The said extruder incorporates also a screw, a perforated cylinder strainer fitted on the screw in degassing section and separating the space between the screw shaft and the housing wall into the inner "c" and outer "d" aligned circular channels communicating via the cylinder wall holes and a scraper element. The extruder housing wall channel accommodates a partition separating the channel zones into those of filtration and degassing. The said sections communicate via the plasticisation and extrusion zones and between themselves via the holes in the cylinder walls and inner channel. A part of the filtration zone limited by the partition, housing wall, screw and scraper element makes a collector of filtered out sediment and communicates with the housing outlet radial channel.

EFFECT: continuous purification of the melt from mechanical impurities high-efficiency processing of polymer material waste into high-quality products.
