FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transmission assemblies coupling the turbine rotors with the gas turbine engine compressor. The assembly coupling the turbine and gas turbine engine compressor shafts incorporates a countershaft with its front tail spline-jointed with the compressor shaft and a rear tail coupled with the turbine shaft. A centering ring is arranged in the countershaft tail annular groove, on the spline outer diameter. The countershaft front end faces and those of the centering ring feature, at least, one recess aligned in assembly. The centering ring inner surface has, at least, one ledge accommodated in the tail spline slot. The said ledge height makes 0.5 to 2.0 of the compressor splined shaft absolute value.
EFFECT: higher engine reliability made possible by removal of oil from the compressor shaft chamber and by ruling out the coking and ignition of oil.
