FIELD: measuring instruments.

SUBSTANCE: sensor for measuring inclination angles of an object includes two electrolytic level gauges each having the form of a cylindrical tube with two electrodes being arranged symmetrically with respect to a third middle one disposed at the opposite portion of the tube. Both these level gauges are pivoted at 180° with respect to their longitudinal axes and inclined at a predetermined angle to the horizontal plane in opposite directions. The electrolytic gauges form two arms of a measuring bridge. A supply voltage source is connected between one diagonally opposite pair of junctions and a load is connected between another diagonally opposite pair of junctions of the bridge. The two pairs of electrodes of the electrolytic level gauges are connected to each other and to a circuit of the supply voltage source. At the same time the sensor includes two identical capacitors. Said load includes an electrometric amplifier, a low-pass filter, a linear detector and an indicator. The capacitors serve as the other arms of said measuring bridge, the electrometric amplifier is connected between the second diagonally opposite pair of junctions of the bridge. The low-pass filter, linear detector and indicator are connected in line to the output of the electrometric amplifier.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of measuring small inclination angles, characteristic linearisation of the sensor for measuring inclination angles of an object during measuring small angles and increasing the reliability.
