FIELD: measurement technology, monitoring of vibration of moving parts in rotor machines. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use in heat power industry, turbo-pump aggregates, in oil and gas production and some more industries. Meter includes eddy-current pickup, indication circuit and self-excited oscillator built on three transistors. Pickup winding is part of oscillatory circuit of self-excited oscillator. Indication circuit includes high-frequency buffer, diode-resistor bridge, differential amplifier, reference voltage source and indicator. Circuit of self-excited oscillator is supplemented with shift register that ensures emergence of oscillations in self-excited oscillator across section with high slope and increases sensitivity of meter. Voltage of self-excited oscillator is indicated by indicator after match in high-frequency buffer, rectification and filtration in diode-resistor bridge and signal amplification in differential amplifier. Insertion of high-frequency buffer, dioderesistor bridge, reference voltage source and differential amplifier makes it possible to reduce shunting of oscillatory circuit.
