FIELD: mechanics, pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transportation and can be used in repair of partially destructed various purpose pipelines, e.g. water-, gas-, petroleum and service lines. The pipe to be repaired is prepared, sections of a "sleeve" are pulled through the sections of the pipe under repair and, then, they are connected. The "sleeve" represents a rigid pipe made from a shape-memorisation polymer material. The said "sleeve", prior to drawing it into the pipe, is subjected to squeezing, its recovery occurring after is arrangement inside repaired pipe any type of deformation, twisting, friction between the "sleeve" and pipe inner surface are ruled out thanks to a tight fit of the "sleeve" to the pipe inner surface.
EFFECT: ruling out deformation, friction between the "sleeve" and pipe inner surface in repair.
