SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to seismography. The autonomous device for recording seismic signals consists of a microprocessor control unit, highly stable clock frequency generator, a memory device joined to the first input-output of the microprocessor control unit, and serially joined to at least one preliminary amplifier, at least one analogue-digital converter (delta-sigma modulator) and a digital filter, as well as a light indication unit. To provide for precision time synchronisation, the autonomous device for recording seismic signals contains a GPS-receiver and a time synchronisation unit, including a generator of a precise second pulse and serially connected to the data output of the GPS-receiver, decoder, unit for recording time and date and a time and date counter. The autonomous device for recording seismic signals also contains a testing system, connected to one of the outputs of the microprocessor control unit, serially connected to a generator of the code for controlling the test signal and a generator of the test signal, the output of which is connected to the input of the corresponding preliminary amplifier through at least one commutator. The control input of each of the indicated commutators is connected to the control output of the microprocessor control unit.

EFFECT: design of an autonomous device for recording seismic signals, providing for precision time synchronisation.
