FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: device has a seismic transducer, an analogue-to-digital converter, a data transmission channel, an astronomical time signal generator, a clock generator and a master controller. In the device, the output of the astronomical time signal generator is connected to the interruption input of the master controller, the input for allowing data reception of which is connected to the data ready output of the analogue-to-digital converter. The program in the master controller facilitates simultaneous reception of data from the analogue-to-digital converter and the astronomical time signal generator and transmission of data over the data transmission channel to the output of the device. The controller also has an interruption processing program which is run upon potential drop at the interruption input of the master controller and which facilitates rerun of the sampling cycle of the analogue-to-digital converter.

EFFECT: high accuracy of sychronisation of seismic data with astronomical time.
