FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in variable frequency AC drive for feeding single-phase asynchronous motors from single phase network. Semi-conducting switches connected to power line form four single-phase bridge diagrams of rectifying: each two bridge diagrams of rectifying are interconnected in parallel opposition. Primary stator winding of single-phase asynchronous motor is connected with outputs of one pair of single-phase bridge diagrams of rectifying being in parallel opposition. Secondary winding of single-phase asynchronous motor is connected with outputs of the other pair of single-phase bridge diagrams of rectifying being in parallel opposition. Single-phase AC network is used as power line. Single-phase asynchronous motor can be powered from single-phase network and motor rotation speed frequency can be controllable by means of the proposed one-phase bridge low-frequency converter operating in single-phase network.
EFFECT: improvement of frequency converter reliability and effectiveness and reduction of overall dimensions.
