SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of electric engineering and may be used to supply to asynchronous three-phase motors. In device of capacitor-free start of asynchronous three-phase short-circuited electric motor from single-phase grid stator windings of asynchronous motor are connected as per star circuit and are connected to single-phase grid via semiconductor switches. As semiconductor switches they use antiparallel connected dynistors for connection with one common outlet to outlet of stator winding, which is not connected to phase and zero of supply grid, by another common outlet - to zero of supply grid and to outlet of stator winding connected to zero of supply grid.

EFFECT: higher reliability and efficiency and reduced dimensions.
