FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to construction tools, namely to tools for smoothing vertical surfaces during construction works performing (plastering of surfaces, smoothing of walls, etc.). Construction tool for vertical surface smoothing contains laser vertical position detector, floater made in the form of rail with parallel longitudinal sides, two guide rails for floater and spacer units. Each guide rail is connected to corresponding spacer unit installed at the end of guide rail and intended for guide rail fixing between base surfaces. Also the tool contains planks with measuring scales identical to one another, each guide rail being connected with two planks with measuring scales installed at distance from each other. Planks with measuring scales are connected with guide rail with possibility of measuring scales orientation perpendicular to longitudinal axis of guide rail. Laser detector is intended for installation between guide rails mounted along smoothed surface at distance from each other and is capable of projecting vertical light beam onto identical measuring scales graduation marks oriented perpendicular to their axes. Spacer unit of construction tool consists of load bearing console, swiveling lever and retaining element. Load bearing console is connected from one side with tolls guiding rail and from other side with swiveling lever. Load bearing console is connected with guide rail and is capable of moving and being subsequently fixed relative thereto.

EFFECT: structure simplification, reduction of time required for plastering works and labor consumption, improvement in quality of vertical surface smoothing, and operational comfort improvement when tool is fixed relative to base surfaces, expansion of functionality of spacer unit used in construction tools.
