FIELD: petroleum industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to the area of oil and gas wells drilling, i.e. rotary drilling hydraulic drives installed downhole. Spindle section consists of housing (1), shaft (2) with bottom (3) and top (4) seal units that form oil chamber (5) where radial (6) and axial (7) thrust bearings are installed and hydraulically connected with diaphragm lubricator (8). Free spaces of oil chamber (5) include ballast elements (9). Commissioning method of the turbodrill oil-filled spindle section consists in filling the oil chamber and lubricator with oil. Lubricator shall be filled with oil to 75-80% of its capacity. Method ensures reduction of oil ratio outside the diaphragm lubricator.
EFFECT: achievement of free space in the lubricator that is filled with oil expanding in volume.
