FIELD: petroleum industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to the oil-and-gas industry and designed to fish parted drill pipe and tubing joints as well as rods. The unit includes housing with thread and fishing sections, elongated windows made in the housing and located along the perimeter at the same level with installed restraining jaws. Blade springs are fixed in the inclined groove made on the outer wall of the housing and contact with top sections of the restraining jaws. Restraining jaws are arranged on axis and made to ensure vertical rotation and longitudinal travel. Lower support wall of each window is made along the circular arc and contacts with identical surface of the lower end of the restraining jaw, its upper end being provided with active faces with angle between them of 80-90 degrees.

EFFECT: improved operational reliability of the system designed to fish parted drill pipe and tubing joints.
