FIELD: electricity; physics.
SUBSTANCE: method is characterised by pulse-duration conversion of the first analogue signal by comparing it with the first triangular signal and generation of the first pulse-duration signal having logical item level within one interval if the first triangular signal level is exceeded by the first analogue signal level and having logical zero level in the other interval if the first triangular signal level is below the first analogue signal level. Pulse-duration conversion of the second analogue signal is compared with the second triangular signal and the second pulse-duration signal is generated having logical item within one interval if the second triangular signal level is exceeded by the second analogue signal level and having logical zero level within the other interval if the second triangular signal level is below the second analogue signal. Additionally, logical multiplication of the first and second pulse-duration signals is performed and logical levels are generated corresponding to time intervals when logical levels of the first and second pulse-duration signals coincide or do not coincide, with period of the second triangular signal not equal to the period of the first triangular signal.
EFFECT: high precision conversion.
