FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: in the heating system for a reactor shell with external protective housing fixed to the shell and forming a round cavity, the shell has strings of heating coilers forming several separate zones at different height and attached to the shell by terminal blocks with least possible gaps. Each zone consists of two independent half-ring sectors of parallel coil springs with separate feed and output of heating medium. The gaps between the sectors are filled with multizone thermoelectric converter.
EFFECT: elimination of significant reactor shell stress and possibility to switch from emergency to routine mode.
