FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to caterpillar vehicles and can be used to carry landing force ferry. The caterpillar carrier body crew compartment and boarding/landing hatch zones are made from armour steel. The said hatch is a bit shifted to the RH side, its width making a sum of the commander seat width and that of a passage between the said seat and the driver's seat. The hatch, ahead of the commander's seat, and the front top plate ahead of the driver's seat have window-openings furnished with bullet-proof glass. An escape hatch is arranged behind the driver's seat along the ferry crew seats. The carrier lifting-guiding frame stabilising beam is arranged nearby the frame girder ends linking them together to make a rigid bearing structure. Support rollers are arranged on the frame outer side lengthening the stabilising beam. A light-weight transverse beam is rigidly attached to the frame ahead of the boarding/landing hatch. The lifting-guiding frame is furnished with a mechanical gadget of the hydraulic system unloading representing a retainer arranged to fix the frame in the transport position and another hydraulic unloading device made up of a relief valve and electro hydraulic distributor electrically connected with the control board. The ferry lengthwise motion limitation retainers are provided with turnbuckles to additionally fix the ferry in transportation. The body top, in the centre of carried ferry mass nearby the body sides, the ferry hydraulically-operated additional retainers are arranged furnished with operation pickups. The method of loading the ferry on the aforesaid carrier includes lowering the lifting-guiding frame to its extreme bottom position, butt-jointing the frame support rollers with the ferry bottom guides. Lifting the ferry end interacting with the lifting-guiding frame by means of hydraulic cylinders, pulling the ferry by a pull winch onto the frame support rollers and the first pair of the body support rollers with further pulling it till the ferry lengthwise motion limitation retainers and fixing the ferry. In pulling the ferry onto the support rollers, the load onto the said rollers is decreased by automatically lowering the lifting-guiding frame by means of the frame hydraulic unloading device relief valve.
EFFECT: easier control of the caterpillar carrier, higher safety of loading/unloading operations.
