SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of package, namely to automatic devices for items wrapping, e.g. cardboard boxes, blocks, etc. Device for items wrapping contains facilities for wrapping material supply, knife for cutting sheet of wrapping material, which are installed to provide vertical supply of the said sheet to the wrapping zone. Facility of wrapped items supply includes pusher that provides items supply to the wrapping zone and their primary wrapping into specified sheet from three sides, as well as facility of items final wrapping. Facilities of wrapping material supply also include vertical belt conveyor installed after knife with pressing rollers that provide holding of wrapping material sheet during its supply with conveyor in the wrapping zone. Device also contains detector of item availability in the zone of items supply for wrapping and detector of wrapping material sheet end. The said detectors are connected to controller, which is arranged to supply control action to pusher for item push-fit in the wrapping zone provided that item and wrapping material sheet are available, which is confirmed by means of detectors of availability and film end, respectively, as well as to supply control action to pressing rollers of conveyor to release wrapping material sheet end after item contact with the said sheet. Device provides economical consumption of wrapping material, convenience of reconfiguration in case of wrapped items dimensions change. Device is equally efficient in application of different types of wrapping materials.
