SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to lighting devices, and particularly to a candle and the method of making it. The method of making the candle involves making a body from solid fatty substance, providing for generation of light energy when the fatty substance melts and burns on a wick, put in the body. According to the invention, the body has a shape of chair and has chair made with upper and lower support surfaces as well as support and back or the back-support. The support is fixed to the chair under the lower support surface. The back is fixed to the chair over the upper support surface or the back-support is fixed to the chair above the upper and under the lower supports of its surfaces. The wick is put in the back or back-support, along the latter. Essence of the device lies in the candle, consisting of a body made from solid fatty substance, providing for providing for generation of light energy when the fatty substance melts and burns on a wick, put in the body. According to the invention, the body has a shape of chair and has a chair with upper and lower support surfaces. The support is fixed to the chair under the lower support surface and back, fixed to the chair over the upper support surface or back-support, fixed to the chair over the upper and under its lower support surfaces. The bowl is put in the back or back-support, along the latter.
