FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the creation and usage of "intellectual" documents created on computer with the functions attached to them and providing context-sensitive tools, control units and reference information filling for users of such documents. Fragments of the documents are annotated with tags and the structure of the eXtensible markup language (XML) providing a user with context-sensitive tools, control units and reference information filling related to the textual or data context pointed by cursor. The toolbar may be opened on the computer display near the edited document. Moving the cursor at the document fragment, the user can obtain information related to the context of the document fragment.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of documents processing due to involvement of the context-sensitive tools on the computer.
