SUBSTANCE: method is implemented by controlling the input from user to edit the document. The said input is received through a trial version of application running on the processor, which input is provided by the user of trial version of application, and the trial version of application contains a subset of complete application functions. The possibility of prompting the user to receive an update is found out, based on the input from the user. In response to the input the user makes regarding the document, the user is invited through the trial version of application to purchase the update by giving the user an offer to purchase the update. Transaction is performed to purchase the update. Access to update in computer device is provided.
EFFECT: software upgrade to an improved version that provides a full set of software features.
