FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: device contains a flat haptic part and optical part made in the form of a convex surface. The forward surface of the optical part is made in the form of an elliptic segment of convex ellipsoidal surface, the surface being convex towards a cornea. Markers in the form of rectilinear lines are made on the haptic part. Direction of the said lines coincides with that of the elliptic segment big axis. The back surface of the optical part is flat.
EFFECT: correction of heavy hypermetropic astigmatism and wider arsenal of eye artificial lenses.
