SUBSTANCE: bearing sleeve of the seat lengthwise travel mechanism lever is a solid part incorporating an outside element housing an inside element interconnected by crosspieces. The sleeve is furnished with locating ledges arranged on the outside element outer surface. At least, two said ledges make a continuation of the crosspieces and represent wedges expanding towards the side opposite to the location of the aforesaid crosspieces. The outside element can have a cylindrical shape. The inside element can have a taper shape. Along the outside element edges, an outer locating ledge can be arranged with local cuts opposing the outside element outer surface locating ledges.

EFFECT: higher reliability of the sleeve and easier fitting it in place.
