FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns method of obtaining alkyleneoxide. The claimed method of obtaining alkyleneoxide involves the following stages: (i) alkylbenzene oxidation with obtaining a flow containing alkylbenzene hydroperoxide; (ii) contacting of at least a part of alkylbenzene hydroperoxide obtained at the (i) stage to olefin, to obtain product flow containing alkyleneoxide; (iii) separation of alkyleneoxide compound from the product flow left of the (ii) stage, with obtaining (a) residual product flow containing alkylphenyl alcohol, and (b) alkyleneoxide; (iv) feeding of at least a part of residual product flow containing alkylphenyl alcohol to a reactor with catalytic distillation area, and simultaneous processes in the reactor: (a) contacting of residual product flow containing alkylphenyl alcohol to hydrogen in the catalytic distillation area for transformation of alkylphenyl alcohol into alkylbenzene and obtaining reaction mix; and (b) extraction of alkylbenzene from reaction mix by fractional distillation; (v) extraction of alkylbenzene-containing flow with alkylphenyl alcohol concentration lower than product flow from the reactor at a level above the catalytic reaction area; extraction of a flow with alkylbenzene dimmer(s) from a level below the catalytic reaction area; and (viii) recycling of at least a part of alkylbenzene obtained at (iv)(b) and/or (vi) stages through the (i) stage.

EFFECT: more efficient method combining multiple stages of alkylphenyl alcohol transformation to alkylbenzene.
