FIELD: constructional engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to make-and-brake socked liquid-impermeable pipe union at high pressure. Internal member contains parallel portion inserted into outer casing with envelope containing slot of certain width housing axially moving ring between two walls of groove and in fact having thickness equal to slot depth. The outer casing contains parallel area where to internal parallel member is attached. Envelope of the aforesaid area is supplied with at least slot for locking device elastically moving from and into parallel portion interacting, in locking position, to slot edge approximate to external end of internal member. Locking device of outer casing is mounted in tool rotating relative outer casing by means of bearing.
EFFECT: improved reliability of pipe make-and-brake socked union.
