FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical instrument making and can be used in devices designed for sampling and placing liquid samples into, for example, a gas chromatograph. The proposed device incorporates metering unit (4) comprising syringe (6) with working space (7), hollow needle (8), piston (9). The said metering unit contains also a washing unit incorporating hollow packing (11) fitted on syringe (6). Space of packing (11) communicates with working space (7) of syringe (6) and line (13) with vessel (14) containing washing liquid. Line (13) and vessel (14) house temperature pickups (15) and (16), respectively. Resistance of pickup (15) depends upon liquid flow in line (13) featuring a certain rate, while resistance of pickup (16) depends upon liquid level vessel (14). Current information on the state of these pickups is fed into controller (17), thus effecting a reliable control over syringe space washing of previous sample residues.
EFFECT: higher quality of chromatography.
