FIELD: communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to radio technology particularly to mass use radio communication systems. The method of processing a phase modulated signal in a receiving channel involves separate processing of an amplified input signal in two channels. In the first channel, the current value of the amplified input signal is processed and the useful distorted signal is separated from it. The distortions are a result of amplitude-phase conversion in the input amplifier. In the second channel, a signal is formed, which is proportional to the power of the high frequency amplified input signal, from which a signal is formed, corresponding the power of the input signal at the input of the amplifier in the operating band of the carrier frequency of the input signal. Using the signal from the second channel and data on the amplitude-phase characteristic, the output signal of the first channel is processed, eliminating phase distortions from it. The useful signal obtained at the output almost completely coincides with the conventional useful signal.
EFFECT: increased interference immunity of receiving narrow band phase modulated signals in an additive mixture with powerful narrow band interference.
