FIELD: food industry, slaughtering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine engineering for food industry and, particularly, to devices used for feathers removal from bird body. Driving mechanism includes casing consisting of two parts, shaft, rotating pulley, flange with o-ring and holder with elastic pins. Shaft is assembled on bearings in casing fixed to the front side of casing. Lugs are available in fixing points ensuring clearance between casing end and front side wall. Pulley and holder with elastic pins are attached to shaft. Holder with elastic pins is without bend. Free space is available between holder and flange in order to replace elastic pin. Invention allows for reducing man-power effort while dismantling driving mechanism and replacing high-wear parts.
