FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns facilities for receiving ionised gas by means of barrier discharge. Chamber contains electrodes and located between them tubular helical dielectric barrier, through which it is passed operating gaseous medium. Dielectric barrier can be implemented in the shape of cylindrical spiral, winded on the surface of internal cylindrical electrode, coaxial mounted relative to external cylindrical electrode, or in the shape of flat Archimedean spiral, located between flat electrodes.
EFFECT: simplifying of barrier discharge chamber construction, reduction of labor content of its manufacturing without reduction of its productivity.
