FIELD: generation of ozone around an electrical discharge, applicable for electrical methods of gas treatment, in plasmochemistry and in other branches. SUBSTANCE: in the ozonizer discharge chamber, using electrodes, a dielectric barrier placed between them, inlet and outlet, the electrodes are made with a flat annular working surface. The dielectric barrier is located on a supporting insulator with a gap between the electrodes. The inlet and outlet are made in the first and second electrodes respectively, and in their central part. In the peripheral part the chamber is furnished with a gas distributor.
