SUBSTANCE: method implies that the cavity of volume Vc between the enclosure of shut-off-and-regulating fitting and its permeable lock is injected with indicator gas, and behind shut-off-and-regulating fitting from main-gas pipeline gas is sampled to measure its flow rate Qs and concentration Cs of indicator gas content. Having volume Vi of injected indicator gas known, flow rate QSRF of gas through permeable lock of shut-off-and-regulating fitting by equation: .
EFFECT: increased flow rate measurement accuracy due to using of concentration measurement method.
