FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device contains quantiser, random-access memory (RAM) of "moving window" type, "weight" digital adder, digital comparator, read-only memory (ROM) with number of toggles which condition specifies reference address to ROM. The listed units are interconnected in special manner. Best value of noise quantisation value crossing probability and best value of detection threshold are preregistered in ROM by addresses determined with binary conditional codes of specified parameters. Data of the addresses determined with the codes chosen at toggle blocks of binary conditional code of specified parameters is ROM read out. If detection threshold of digital comparator is exceeded, radar target detection signal is generated.
EFFECT: increased probability of radar target detection.
