FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to sanitary materials made of polymethylmethacrylate and to products thereof. Offered material made of methylmethacrylate containig 0.5-4% wt of acrylic acid ester and having average molecular weight 130000-190000 g/mol, contains impact strength modifier 0-15% wt calculated per modifier rubber phase extruded to laminar intermediate product. Moulded products made of the offered material are suitable for sanitary due to high material mechanical resistance tested with variable hot water and "hot water - isopropanol ".
EFFECT: production of reasonably priced, easily moulded, crack resistant and variable hot water resistant sanitary material.
