FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aqueous dye compositions for dyeing moulding compounds from thermoplastic synthetic polymers. Colouring composition contains from 1 to 49 wt% of dispersing additive, having weight loss of pure dispersing additive in dry form of at most 15 wt% at isothermal thermogravimetric analysis at 260 °C for 60 minutes. Said dispersing additive is copolymers of methacrylic acid with a hydrophobic methacrylate or copolymers of polyether selected from ethylene, propylene and/or butylene oxide and styrene oxide. Colouring composition also contains from 0.5 to 50 wt% of organic or inorganic pigment and to 98.5 wt% of water. Described also are thermoplastics, particularly poly(alkyl)(meth)acrylate, coloured using said composition.
EFFECT: proposed colouring composition enables to eliminate or reduce yellowing of thermoplastic polymers when dyeing with pigments in conditions of strong thermal action, as well as reduce possibility of oscillations chromaticity coordinates of dyed plastics.
