FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engine production and can be used in turboprop power plant automatic control systems (ACS). The invention consists in that the maximum limitation of the gas temperature behind the gas generator turbine is corrected allowing for the throttle position, and in using this position for presetting the engine output power. Now, the engine output shaft torque and free turbine rpm are measured, the actual engine output power is defined as a product of the free turbine torque and rpm values, the preset and actual engine power outputs are compared, the resulted difference is sorted according to the minimum with the "АП" signal. The proposed invention allows controlling fuel flow rate in compliance with the engine power output maintenance program, since the latter feature is the most important for turboprop power plant ACS. Note that is allows also to automatically limit the gas generator parameters related with the engine operating conditions thus increasing the life of the hot section.
EFFECT: controlling fuel flow rate in compliance with the engine power output maintenance program.
