FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in electronic automatic control systems (ACS) of turboprop power plants (PP). Essence of invention is that in addition, when throttle lever is switched over to BB reverse sector, rotation frequencies of engine turbocompressor and free turbine and torque moment on output shaft of free turbine is fixed; design power on engine output shaft is determined as product of torque moment and rotation frequency of free turbine; rotation frequency of turbocompressor and design power is compared to the first and the second pre-set values determined for each type of engine by calculation and experiment; when rotation frequency and design power of engine exceeds the first and the second pre-set values, switching-over of BB blades to Reverse position is locked until rotation frequency of turbocompressor becomes lower than the first pre-set value or design power of engine becomes lower than the second pre-set value. The effect of the invention consists in improvement of ACS operating quality, and namely agreement of operation of gas generator and BB; overfrequency of rotation of free turbine is eliminated at switching over BB blades from takeoff to reverse position.
EFFECT: higher PP operating reliability and safety of aircraft.
