FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to engineering cybernetics and may be used for controlling electrical heating device. Control method for electrical heating device connected to power supply mains with the use of controlling unit is the application of serial bi-cyclic control of heating device power. Firstly, device is switched on at full power of monitored temperature is below needed value. The device is switched off if temperature is equal or above needed value. In each step of the next cycles, power of heating device is set at temperature below needed value but equal to the sum of average power value in the previous cycle and first correction to power ensuring stability margin for control process when external disturbances are changed as thermal losses. If temperature is equal or higher needed value - power value is set to difference of average power value in the previous cycle and second correction to power ensuring stability margin for control process when external disturbances are changed as heat supplies. Corrections to power in each cycle are changed against increasing function law.
EFFECT: expansion of control stability zones and simplification of temperature monitoring devices.
