FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: shared connecting element effects electrical connection of single cell terminals. The shared connecting element incorporates two or more separate connecting parts to be connected to appropriate electrode terminals in modular storage battery assembly and interconnected by additional conductors to complete battery assembly. This invention proposes also the method of improving the modular storage battery performances by using the aforesaid shared connecting element to connect single cells in parallel to equalize their voltages in assembly, particularly, prior to connecting them in series, or in using the storage battery. This allows reducing voltage difference between single cells.
EFFECT: improved performances of modular storage battery.
