FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used to arranged connections between the circuit and industrial bussing. The coupling box incorporates two opposite sockets for plugs of data transfer shielded cables to be interconnected. PCB (10) comprises a contact group for every socket and interconnects contacts (12). Two parts (14) of the box made of insulating material envelope and fasten PCB (10). Conducting casing (40) is, mainly, U-shaped with a lengthwise axis passing along the direction of inserting the sockets. Parts (14) of the box with PCB (10) can be fitted into casing (40) and locked therein as a module. Conducting closing cover (60) covers the module on the open side of casing (40) and is furnished with contact lugs (62) to be inserted into the said sockets to make a contact with the shields of plugs fitted therein.
EFFECT: higher reliability of connection and smaller sizes of coupling box.
