FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to grounding nut. Nut (1) comprises body (2) with inner thread (4) to receive a threaded axle and an outer faces allowing nut tightening with a wrench. Body (2) has flat opposite face surfaces (5, 6). Threaded holes (7A, 7B, 7C) are arranged in the nut body for fitting bolt (8A) therein to fasten grounding connector (8B) with the body of nut (2) and slotted screws (8C, 8D). Four extended ribs (9A, 9B, 9C, 9D) are arranged on the said flat surface (5) to scratch on or to bite into opposite surface whereon the nut thrusts. Grounding nut (1) can be incorporated in the cable shielding. The cable seal includes the said nut. The method of producing the said nut includes two stages, i.e. producing the body and, at least, two threaded holes in the said body.

EFFECT: higher rigidity eliminating vibrations.
