FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural engineering and can be used for flax harvesting. Flax agitator over and bundling device comprises a central section and foldable side sections jointed to it by flapping hinge. Each section consists of a frame with carrying wheels and a pickup drum mounted on the frame and fitted with beater grate. Drums of each section are aligned coaxially and the drum shafts bear clusters of toothed discs set at the equal distance from each other. Each toothed disc cluster of each drum is further equipped with one additional identical toothed disc which is mounted on the drum shaft and can be rotated with following fixation by stopping device in the form of spring-loaded locking holder. Drive of the flax agitator over and bundling device is fitted with a mechanism for switching between operation modes to provide either continuous or discrete rotation of the pickup drums. The flax agitator over and bundling device ensures turning over and bundling flax stems along with improvement of its functionality.
