FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: master key is made as a locking plate and a latch that is connected with switch pins that move in a spiral way and a slider that blocks or releases the latch that moves lengthwise. A key made of a blank form has a grooved prong-type edge located below its active face. The front end of the grooved prong-type edge can be located in certain positions different along the key and it acts on the key slide when the key is inserted in the keyhole. The blank key suggested in the patent can be used for making of keys whose front ends of the edges acting on the slide will be located in the places different by the key length. The edge made of a blank key can be divided into two parts along the key length that are shifted relatively to each other horizontally and with the front ends located in the places different along the key length that interact with different edges of the slide.
EFFECT: invention enables to create a system with a master key from a great number of locks.
