FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: internal combustion rotor engine incorporates a plate arranged between and above the compressor and working chambers and communicating with them. The said plate is driven by the engine shaft to run inside the casing. Two equal-volume spaces are arranged in the plate central part, separated by a partition passing along the plate lengthwise axis. The plate drive is articulated to the engine shaft so that, with the plate running, its chambers occupy three fixed positions whereat every chamber communicates, in turns, via the casing channel with the compressor chamber acting as a compression chamber, then comes into an intermediate position to isolate the plate chamber from the channels of both chambers and to act as a combustion chamber. Now, via the other channel in the casing, it communicates with the working chamber to make, as-coupled, an expansion chamber.
EFFECT: higher engine efficiency due to constant fuel mixture pressure from the compression cycle termination till ignition start and combustion in constant volume.
