SUBSTANCE: method of preparing nutrition additive for cattle containing a mineral component including the following microelements, i.e. cuprous sulphate, zinc sulphate, cobalt carbonate, potassium iodide, iron sulphate, magnesium sulphate, sodium selenite and vitamins A, D, E, sodium chloride. The above said components are mixed and prepackaged. Binder is first prepared, that is a beet melasses which is heated to 30 to 40°C, and a mix of components is added thereto. The mineral component of the said mix incorporates additionally magnesium oxide, cattle chalkstone, monocalcium phosphate and burnt lime. The resulted mass is thoroughly mixed up, laid in measuring vessels and cooled at a room temperature to form lick-salt bricks that feature the following content of the additive components, g/kg, i.e. beat melasses 455.00 to 460.00, magnesium oxide 99.84 to 160.32, cattle chalkstone 109.00 to 0, monocalcium phosphate 90.25 to 107.52, cuprous sulphate 2.65 to 6.60, zinc sulphate 4.64 to 22.32, cobalt carbonate 0.44 to 0.60, potassium iodide 0.09 to 0.24, iron sulphate 4.30 to 0, manganese sulphate 9.55 to 16.00, sodium selenite 0.05 to 0.04, vitamin A 0.60 to 0.50, vitamin D 1.26 to 1.00, vitamin E 2.50 to 0.40, sodium chloride 133.00 to 164.20, burnt limestone making the rest. The proposed method allows an accurate equalised ration.

EFFECT: ease of storage and transportation of lick-salt bricks without deteriorating vitamins.
