FIELD: polygraphic industry.

SUBSTANCE: ink cartridge contains ink container with top wall, bottom wall, first side wall intersecting with bottom wall and second side wall intersecting with bottom wall and located opposite the first side wall; ink feeding port on the bottom wall positioned with shift nearer to the first side wall than to the second side wall; first protruding part located on the second side wall and nearer to the bottom wall than to the top wall and featuring multiple side parts to fix it in place; pressed part located on the second side wall and having top surface clamped by clamping element of printing device; holding element engaging with accepting part of printing device when ink cartridge is installed into printing device; and a number of electrodes located on the first protruding part and having electric connection with memory device located on the ink container. Printing device contains the element forming channel for ink communicating with writing head and located opposite to port for feeding ink from ink cartridge installed into printing device; width adjusting protruding part adjacent to side parts of protruding part; and resilient unit bearing against protruding part upper surface for position adjustment. Jet printing device where in the process of ink cartridge installation the resilient unit for position adjustment is pressed out and resiliently deformed by lower part of ink cartridge protruding part, and after that, when ink cartridge has been installed, the resilient unit returns to its original position and bears against upper surface of protruding part.

EFFECT: simplification of structure for electrode group position adjustment and size reduction.
