FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of electric engineering, in particular, to controlling and measuring equipment, namely - to multiple-collector mass spectrometers, and may be used in different fields of chemical industry for determination of isotope composition of substances, in particular, at enterprises of nuclear fuel cycle - for determination of isotope composition of uranium hexafluoride (UHF). Method consists in registration of ion beams of every uranium isotope in its collector and calculation of atomic fraction of isotopes with account of previously determined coefficients of ion currents registration channels. At that, in order to avoid inaccuracy of measurements that depends on availability of isotope fractioning effects in mass spectrometer and inaccuracy of calibration coefficients determination, preliminarily with the help of two standard samples (SS) for every isotope linear dependencies are defined f(Ci)=Cpasp,i-Cmeas,i, which are later used for correction of coefficients of calibration of uranium - 234, 235, 236 registration channels (Kj), after that repeated calculation of uranium isotopes data is carried out.

EFFECT: simplification of existing methods of isotope analysis of uranium hexafluoride without deterioration of their characteristics and their inaccuracy characteristics and reduction of unused SS number.
