FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: device is in form of hinged and spring levers 1 and 2, on which there are cathode-ray tubes, with a cathode, accelerating anode, screen and an extra cathode and anode on the screen, and a lever 13, joined to lever 1 by a hinge and a spring. On levers 1 and 13 there are also cathode-ray tubes, with a cathode, accelerating anode, screen and an extra cathode and anode on the screen. The cathode-ray tubes are connected to a current source and mounted on levers 1 and 2 and on levers 1 and 13 with provision for repulsion from each other when voltage is applied. On lever 2 there is a gripper. When there are small charges on the screens, electrostatic tubes have large repulsive force.

EFFECT: in comparison to electromagnet, device has little weight, uses less electrical energy; lower expenses on making and using device.
