FIELD: building.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns a method and a device for storage of valuable items. One device for storage of important documents, banknotes or similar objects with the destroying agent intended for destruction of important documents in reply to an attempt of theft and-or illegal access to documents is used. In case of destruction of the specified important documents the container with the destroying agent is opened. The destroying agent flows in the storage device. In storage capacity is partially located the storage device with important documents with the important documents reeled by means of a film or a foil which serves for transfer of the destroying agent using capillary way. The volume of the destroying agent is selected in such a manner that it can be placed in the storage capacity without danger of overflow. The container with the destroying agent is located above the storage capacity. The destroying agent flows in the storage capacity after activation of the alarm system.

EFFECT: exclusion of serious damages of elements of the container during ejaculation of the agent destroying the important documents.
