FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to operation of electric power production equipment, particularly, to that used in heating systems. In compliance with the proposed invention, data on the equipment state is received and processed to output the instruction to cut in or cut out the running time increment counter. Novelty of the invention consists in that the aforesaid data is represented by the current consumed by every phase of the equipment allowing for the equipment certificate data. The running time counter readouts are compared to the certificate data on the equipment mean-time-between failures and, in case the said data exceeds the certified values, outputs a warning indication of the equipment running time served out. The transmission of the data on the total running time as well as the input of the total running time to failure and the certificate data on current consumption are effected via the modem over the GSM channel, the mobile phone being used to this end. The method is implemented by the device incorporating a microcontroller, a control unit, a display and signaling unit, a real-time clock circuit, a power supply, current pickups with the interface and modem circuitry.

EFFECT: higher-efficiency of control and recording of serviceability and life.
